Pupusas have cheese u mix in with the meat and u dont fry them in a inch of oil u spread it on with a paper towel but hey you gave it a shot and i love it you can try again and perfect it also use water on ur finger tips to shape and flatten dont use alot of water i love you jehiely and alex please try and do another one again i would love to see u try again

First they are better with black beans and your beans are to runny. I am Mexican and my Mexican mom showed me how to make them. Agreed the hardest part is making the Pupusa look pretty, but they taste good that’s for sure

Things you can try for next time! The masa needs more moisture, yours was on the dryer side.. when you fill the pupusa you have to make sure you STUFF it, use a generous amount of filling…. Try coating your hands in oil when you are making the pupusa, it tends to help in molding it.. try not to use too much oil, just use a tiny bit, it already has oil on it since that's what we used to mold them into shape anyways… and lastly DO NOT worry about cracks, cracks are not a bad thing, the filling will end up seeping a bit through those cracks and frying on the tortilla..adding even more flavor and texture. Great effort though, I would STILL eat those gorditas lmao, hope you're feeling better! xoxo
